District Council 91

The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades officially chartered District Council 91 on August 1, 2002. The District Council meets at 1:00 PM on the second Saturday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 6501 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. The main office of the District Council is located at 409 Millner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.

District Council 91 is made up of twelve Local Unions covering the entire State of Indiana, the western half of Kentucky and the middle third of Tennessee, with some territory in southeastern Illinois. We have regional offices in Evansville, Indianapolis, Merrillville, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Anderson, Terre Haute, and South Bend in Indiana. We also have offices in Louisville and Paducah, Kentucky as well as Nashville, Tennessee.

Our membership consists of about 3000 journeyman and apprentice members in our apprenticeable trades such as Painters, Drywall Finishers, Wall Coverers and Glaziers.

Besides Painting and Glazing we also represent more than 1000 workers who manufacture paint, fabricate, install and maintain billboards, manufacture glass products, workers who perform high pressure waterblasting, vacuum loading, and asbestos abatement including mold and mildew remediation.
